In parallel, our fire engineering team enabled complex stage and location builds through performance-based strategies under BS 9999, including egress, compartmentation, and smoke-behaviour modelling. Early engagement with authorities and coordinated interfaces with Construction, SFX, Stunts, and the AD team translated design intent into practical controls that crews could execute—accelerating approvals and reducing friction at the lens.

To uplift competence, we delivered targeted training: department-specific Fire Marshal (Warden) and Emergency First Aid for floor teams, plus ScreenSkills-accredited Executive Level 4 briefings for senior leaders focused on governance, accountability, and decision-making under time pressure. The outcome was predictable shoot days, stronger first response, fewer false alarms, and an aligned leadership stance on risk—making ambitious creative choices feasible without compromising safety or schedule.
